DPRK holds “water sports months” activities
PYONGYANG, July 21 (Xinhua) — A variety of water sports has being held throughout the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea ( DPRK), the official KCNA news agency said on Tuesday.
The DPRK has set July and August as months for water sports activities. Meanwhile, educational institutions were intensifying swimming lessons and extracurricular swimming activities. Swimming contests were being widely held in Kangwon, North Phyongan, South Hamgyong and other provinces, cities and counties, the KCNA said
